Make an offer! Selling my 2006 Mercedes-Benz Slk280. This car is in great shape and has only 74K miles. This silk has the very rare 6 speed manual transmission. Clean Autocheck and Carfax! Mechanically this car is very sound and runs and drives as it should with no issues. All the electronics including the convertible hard top work. There are no check engine lights or problems at this time. Cosmetically the biggest issue is the front bumper has a crack from a curb and various scuffs. This is an incredible 2006 SLK 350. Salvaged because of water, no water was in the cabin, engine, transmission or rear end. The dealer I bought it from was very emphatic about the fact that there was no water damage. The car has no damage history, or other types of damage. I purchased the SLK for my wife and repaired or replaced all items I felt necessary. These included new brakes rotors and calipers, shocks and struts, new radiator and fan. I also put in new head lights as the ones there were yellowing. The AC fan motor was replaced as well as new motor mounts Over all the body is in fantastic shape with only a few minor scratches, actually it's in excellent shape for it's age. Interior is also excellent, the dealer put in a new windshield at the dealership. My wife is no longer driving so, I will sell one nice SLK. This is a 1998 Mercedes SLK "Kompressor" (supercharged) in Mint condition. I'm the 2nd owner, and I bought it from my father. The car was his wife's and she barely ever used it. I just passed 22,000 miles on Saturday on my spring "dust off" ride. The car has been maintained according to the Mercedes schedule and I have all receipts. Everything on the car functions exactly as it should, and it needs nothing. As you can see from the photos, even the seat bolsters are still perfect. There is no curb rash on any of the rims. All of the paint is shiny and scratch free; and the car has never been in any accidents of any kind. All of the interior is perfect and shows as new. The only imperfection on the car is that the soft touch pain on the center console is notoriously fragile, and scratches easily; typical of early uses of that material esp. on German cars. Also, the care has 3 of the original tires, still in good shape, but if the car is going to be used, they should probably be replaced. If "buy it now" price is met; I will put new appropriate high quality tires on it before delivery; unless you prefer the originals for collector reasons. I just installed a new battery one week ago. These cars have begun to appreciate in value, and if you keep her nice, the trend is only up from here; it is investment quality.
